Permits and regulations

Preliminary classification
From the use, area, height and location the system estimates which structure category or group the building may fall into (Lithuanian STR 1.01.03:2017) and whether a building permit may be needed.
This is guidance, not a decision: the municipality and other competent authorities decide. Every assessment is shown with its source.
Snow and wind
Once you give the municipality, snow and wind zones are selected. If the location is unknown, the system warns that load-related checks were not run — it is worth giving the location.
When there is no rule
Some values (e.g. municipal rules or specific requirements) have no single number. Statyk does not make one up: it shows a "rule not verified" warning explaining what to check and where.
Before you build
- Check the municipality's spatial planning documents and the distances to plot boundaries.
- If needed, commission a design from a certified architect or engineer — the Statyk PDF works as a starting brief.
- Confirm material prices and quantities with your supplier.
